Tripura Judicial Service Exam 2023

There are three stages to the Tripura Judicial Service Exam as below:

1. Preliminary Examination (Screening Test)
2. Mains Examination (Conventional Type)
3. Viva Voce

Law graduates who want to join the subordinate judiciary should take the PCS (J)-Provincial Civil Service-Judicial Examination, which is the entry-level test.

However, the preliminaries and main exams have different syllabus. Knowing the curriculum is the first step for the preparation, so do that today.

Keep in mind that only those who pass the preliminary exam will be chosen to take the main exam. Based on the evaluation of the scores received in the Mains Exam and Viva Voce, the final merit list is created.

Tripura Judiciary Prelims Exam Syllabus 2023

The Tripura Judiciary Prelims Exam shall be a Multiple Choice Type Question examination. The syllabus for Pre Exam shall be as below:

To be selected for the mains, General Category Candidates have to score 60% marks and Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes have to score 50% in the prelim exam.

Tripura Judicial Service Grade III Civil Judge Mains Exam Syllabus 2023

The Main Examination will comprise of four conventional question papers. Each paper will be worth a total of 100 points, and students will have 3 hours to complete each one. No candidate will be called upon for viva-voce unless he or she has completed all examination papers.

On the basis of the result of the Mains Examination, a limited number of candidates, up to three times the total number of vacancies (category-wise), will be selected on the basis of merit, provided they have scored at least 60% or the corresponding grade in the written examination for the general category and 50% or the corresponding grade for the Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe category.

Viva- Voce – Interview- 100 Marks

For the Final Written Examination, every effort will be made to invite 10 candidates for 1 vacancy (1:10). Candidates who pass the Final Written Examination will be invited to an Interview/Viva-Voce.
